HOW TO MAKE A GANG SHEET

In Photoshop:

  1. File → New → 22 inches wide x (insert height wanted)
  2. Resolution: 300 Pixels/Inch (Very important to maintain high quality)
  3. Color Mode: RGB
  4. Background: Transparent → Click Create!
  5. Import your vector art into the sheet and scale the artwork to the size you need.
  6. Save as PNG when finished.
  7. Make sure to leave a 0.25-inch margin all around the sheet.
  8. If your file is too large to send via email, use a file transfer service.

In Canva:

Step 1: Set Up Your Canvas

  • Open Canva and click "Create a Design."
  • Select Custom Size and input your desired sheet dimensions, e.g.:
    • 22x12 inches
    • 22x60 inches
    • 22x84 inches
  • Set the measurement unit to inches.

Step 2: Upload Your Designs

  • Click "Uploads" in the left menu.
  • Upload all the designs you want to include in your gang sheet.

Step 3: Arrange Your Designs

  • Drag and drop your uploaded designs onto the canvas.
  • Resize each design to its desired print size by dragging the corners.
  • Arrange the designs efficiently:
    • Place them as close as possible to reduce wasted space.
    • Rotate designs to fit odd spaces if needed.

Step 4: Download with Transparent Background

  • Click the Share button in the top-right corner.
  • Select Download from the dropdown menu.
  • Choose PNG as the file type.
  • Check the box for Transparent Background. (If grayed out, ensure you have a Pro account.)
  • Click Download.

IMPORTANT TIPS

  • If you’re making a large sheet (e.g., 22 x 300 inches of the SAME images), you do not need to send a 300-inch-long file!

    • Instead, create a smaller sheet (e.g., 22 x 50 inches) and let us know how many copies you need.
    • This reduces file size and makes uploading easier.

  • Separate your artwork!

    • For best printing results, separate large images from small, detailed designs (e.g., left chest logos).
    • Example: If ordering a 22 x 48-inch sheet, send one sheet with large images and one sheet with small details, ensuring the total length matches your order.

Artwork NOT Recommended for DTF:

🚫 Glow effects
🚫 Transparency/Opacity effects
🚫 Thin/Small fine details

These elements will not print as intended and won’t adhere properly due to a lack of a strong white underbase.

⚠ Wording smaller than 0.35 inches is not recommended.
⚠ Fine, tiny details may not adhere—add a stroke or thicken details for best results.

PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS

✅ Set heat press to 310-320°F
✅ Press for 12-15 seconds with medium/high pressure (approx. 30-40 PSI)
✅ Peeling Instructions:

  • Hot peel film can be removed immediately, but peel quickly and with confidence.
  • If you prefer a slow peel, let the transfer cool first.
  • Peel from a corner downward, choosing a corner with the most ink for better grip.

✅ Final Step:

  • Cover with a Teflon sheet and repress for 5 more seconds to seal the design.

Why do my colors look different when printed?

Every monitor displays color differently due to settings. We cannot guarantee colors will match exactly.
📌 For best results, use Pantone colors instead of the default color bar.
